تراجعت أسعار الذهب مع ارتفاع الدولار فيما ينتظر المستثمرون لمعرفة ما إذا كانت الولايات المتحدة وإيران ستجتمعان هذا الأسبوع لإجراء محادثات سلام بعد تجدُّد التوتُّر.
وانخفض الذهب في المعاملات الفورية 2.0 في المئة إلى 4807.91 دولار للأوقية (الأونصة)، بحلول الساعة 02:17 بتوقيت غرينتش، مواصلًا تراجعه من الجلسة السابقة عندما سجل أدنى مستوى منذ 13 نيسان.
واستقرّت العقود الأميركيّة الآجلة للذهب تسليم حزيران عند 4827.30 دولار.
