صدر عن قيادة الجيش – مديرية التوجيه البيان الآتي: بتاريخ 13 /2 /2026، تعرّض المواطن اللبناني الأسترالي (م.ع.) في بلدة بريتال – بعلبك لعملية سلب مبلغ قدره 200,000 دولار أميركي، بعد استدراجه من قبل مواطنَين.
وبعد عملية رصد ومتابعة أمنية أجرتها مديرية المخابرات، تمكنت المديرية بالتاريخ نفسه من استرداد المبلغ المذكور، وتجري المتابعة لتوقيف المتورطين.
