صدر عن المديرية العامة لأمن الدولة – قسم الإعلام والتوجيه والعلاقات العامة، البيان الآتي: "متابعةً للجهود الأمنية التي تهدف إلى مكافحة الجرائم المالية، بتاريخ ٢–٢ ٢٠٢٦ أوقفت مديرية الجنوب الإقليمية – مكتب صيدا المدعو (أ. ن.)، فلسطيني الجنسية، لإقدامه على ترويج عملة أميركية مزيفة، إضافة إلى تنفيذه أعمال نصب واحتيال بلغت قيمتها أكثر من أربعمائة ألف دولار أميركي. أجري المقتضى القانوني بحقه بالتنسيق مع القضاء المختص".
