بعد بلاغ عن سرقة خزنة من منزل في سمار جبيل تحتوي على مجوهرات وسبائك ذهبية وأموال قُدّرت قيمتها بثلاثة ملايين دولار، أوقفت شعبة المعلومات ثلاثة أشخاص اعترفوا، وفق قوى الأمن الداخلي، بالتخطيط للسرقة وتنفيذها.
واستعادت القوى الأمنية جزءًا من المسروقات، بينها 25,500 دولار ومجوهرات وقطع ذهبية وأسلحة، وسلّمته إلى صاحب المنزل. وأُحيل الموقوفون إلى المرجع المختص.
